Overview
Patrick J. Wolf serves as Executive Director of the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology, leading the Institute’s research and policy work on the industrial, energy, and technological foundations of American economic strength. He oversees the Institute’s three research divisions — the Aegis Institute, the Atlas Institute, and the Forge Policy Institute — and represents the Institute in public commentary and policy engagement.
Biography
Patrick J. Wolf is Executive Director of the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology, a policy and research organization dedicated to strengthening the industrial foundations of the United States. The Institute conducts research across three specialized divisions: the Aegis Institute, focused on artificial intelligence governance and compute infrastructure; the Atlas Institute, focused on energy systems and power infrastructure; and the Forge Policy Institute, focused on manufacturing competitiveness and supply chains.
Wolf’s research examines how policy frameworks, institutional decisions, and technological change interact to shape national capacity and long-term competitiveness. His work spans manufacturing policy, energy security, AI governance, and the structural conditions that determine American industrial strength.
Beyond the Institute, Wolf is the publisher of American Star News, a national news and commentary platform covering public affairs and American civic life. He is also the founder of Idaho Leaders, a platform dedicated to business, policy, and civic leadership in the state of Idaho.
