Overview

Jeffrey Roman serves as Director of Operations for the Institute for American Manufacturing & Technology. He oversees the Institute’s functions and events, leads fundraising and donor outreach, and is a point of contact for IAMT inquiries, submissions, and partnerships.

Biography

Jeffrey Roman brings a wealth of experience from the private sector to the Institute. He spent eight years as a Strategy and Policy Analyst for Pepco Holdings, Inc. — now a subsidiary of Exelon — and was a key part of the team working on power grid hardening and security initiatives and PJM infrastructure integration of renewables. He has co-authored white papers for the Clinton Global Initiative, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), and PJM.

Roman also spent twelve years in construction and development for the hospitality industry, giving him direct working knowledge of supply chain logistics, parts and material manufacturing, and the real estate development regulatory environment across the United States.

Areas of Focus

Atlas Institute — Energy supply and demand with emphasis on the rollout of data centers across the United States; grid infrastructure and security; energy supply mix with emphasis on nuclear; and oil supply logistics and projections.

Forge Institute — Public-private production and partnerships with emphasis on defense and energy; global supply chain logistics as the United States continues to secure a hegemonic role in the global economy; and production of goods and services vital to U.S. security and interests, including rebuilding domestic production capacity.

Aegis Institute — Development of power controls and systems for the expanding AI data center infrastructure across the United States.
